Padi Open Water Course
What is the PADI Open water diver course?
The PADI Open water diver is the ultimate entry level scuba diving qualification. In just 3-4 days you can gain a internationally recognised PADI qualification On completion of the Open water course you will be qualified to dive with a buddy worldwide to a depth of 18M. The PADI Open Water certification allows you to rent scuba diving equipment for your personal dives.
What does the PADI Open Water course consist of?
During the PADI Open water course your instructor will teach you 5 knowledge development sections covering all the theory required to become a PADI Open water diver.
There is no formal exam just multiple choice quizzes. All our theory is taught in a relaxed informal environment.
You will then complete 5 confined water skill development sessions which are generally conducted in our on-site pool. During the confined water skills you will master the basic scuba skills and practice your buoyancy control.
You will then complete 4 open water dives putting your skills into practice. You will dive in some fantastic sites you can go turtle hunting in Green Bay and complete your 18m dive at the stunning Cyclops dive site.
Who Can Participate?
Anyone from the age of 12 can enrol in the PADI Open water course. Providing you are comfortable in the water, a reasonable good swimmer and like fish!
There is a self certification medical questionnaire to complete prior to the Open Water course. Please contact us if you have any medical concerns that may prevent you from participating. We require a signature from the parents of minor students.What's Included?
Everything is included in the price of ?425.00 All you will need to supply is swimwear and a towel. You can book your PADI Open Water course online through the 'Add to Cart' button.
On completion of your PADI Open water diver course, you will receive a temporary qualification from your instructor and a lifelong certification card will be sent you directly from PADI.Where is the Open Water Course taught?
The confined water dives of the PADI Open water course are conducted in our on site pool which is part of Survival Dive Stop located in Pernera, Protaras, Cyprus. Once you have completed the confined water dives, we will then drive to Green Bay also in Protaras which is located on the south eastern coastline of Cyprus. We will then complete open water dive number 1 in this amazing dive site. For your second open water dive we will take you to the beautiful De Costa bay, which is also located on the Protaras coast.
